Conway Social Club

Classic Irish fare meets classy, contemporary dining at Annie Bailey’s Irish Public House, located in the heart of Downtown Lancaster.

The Sayres, Scheid & Sweeton clothing store took up residence at 28-30 East King Street in 1907, a space described by the local newspaper as "one of the handsomest in the city." Over the course of its lengthy 82-year tenure, the 3-S store weathered everything from a disastrous fire to various shifts in fashion, all the while holding fast to its promise to deliver high quality garments and attentive service up until the day its doors closed in 1995.

Following a decade of dormancy, the structure was brought back to life in 2006 as Annie Bailey's Irish Public House, helping to spark a resurgence of energy to the once-thriving East King Street business corridor as well as the Lancaster dining and drinking scene. And in November 2019, the 2nd floor at 28 East King Street debuted as CONWAY SOCIAL CLUB – a new food and beverage experience to serve as a reprieve from the bustle and distraction of the everyday.

Pairing the service-forward ethos of the venerable 3-S store with the diverse taste experiences our team has enjoyed at bars and eateries across the globe, Conway Social Club is dedicated to the provision of inspired cocktails and fare that are as thoughtful and interesting as they are approachable and delicious.
